WHAT IS CSR?
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is the idea that businesses should operate according to principles and policies that make a positive impact on society and the environment.

The theory of the "triple bottom line" can help organizations as they pursue corporate social responsibility. As a financial framework, the triple bottom line refers to the idea that a company's business model should revolve around the three P's: people, planet and profit. By maximizing all three, a company aims to make a positive impact on the world and remove barriers to growth.

In our society, every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of its circumstances. Yet, educational opportunities can be challenging for homeless children and youth to obtain and sustain. Education is a fundamental right that empowers individuals to build a brighter future. For homeless children and youth, education can stabilize in an uncertain world. It provides them with essential skills, knowledge, and opportunities for personal growth. Education has the power to break the cycle of homelessness. When homeless children and youth receive a quality education, they gain the tools to improve their prospects.

School can provide stability and routine, which is often missing from their daily lives.

Social Support
Education offers an opportunity to form positive relationships with teachers and peers, creating a support network.

What Can We Do?
As a society, we must unite to support homeless children and youth in their pursuit of education. Here are some actionable steps we can take:

Raise Awareness
We can inspire change and garner support by raising awareness about the challenges homeless children and youth face.

Advocate for Policies
Advocate for policies prioritizing access to education for homeless students, including transportation assistance and school liaisons.

Support Organizations
Donate to and volunteer with organizations dedicated to helping homeless children and youth access education.

Provide Basic Needs
Donate school supplies, clothing, and hygiene items to ensure that homeless students have the resources to succeed.
